Fascinating Video!! Interesting that the information cycle followed a path that we see often around major events, but didnt see the pattern it follows. At first we are all taken in by the shock and sensational aspects of many events such as Columbine, and that it certainly sparks discussion amongst our circle of aquaintenances, friends, and family. Also how the facts take time before they emerge to the general public, and how it progresses to the involvement of experts, or at least qualified anaylsts, and eventually into solid journalism and books by scholars involved in that particular field. With the capability of blogs, twitter, etc., my participation is possible, but never before seemed possible just 3-4 years ago. For those committed to a participatory hand in the current events, especially in specific areas of interest, the power of this new technology has enabled some of us 'laymen' to impact the 'greater conversation'... like i said,, fascinating, amazing.

Adendum
what i contribute can fall into all 3 categories or just one, information i contribute can be both factual data, or just my own opinion, which is still information, because it can affect the opinion or thoughts of others. The standard for facts and data are is obviously higher, i can either know, find thru research, or copy other sources of accepted known facts regarding a subject. But always it will qualify as 'information'.
